A property maintenance request tracker for managers coordinating repairs across a small building portfolio. Review open work, assign a vendor, and update repair progress in one place.

Courtyard opens with a building-by-building property pulse, portfolio request totals and the next maintenance work needing attention. Its Requests page holds repair details, priority, assigned vendor, status and the latest note. Staff can update an existing request without losing the building context, using fictional ToolJet Database records.
Built for Property managers and facilities coordinators managing maintenance requests across residential or mixed-use buildings.
Review the portfolio, then give the next repair a named vendor and a current status.
Review repair summaries grouped by building. Use the portfolio view to decide which maintenance request to check next.
Search the request list and review its building, unit, repair details, priority, assigned vendor, status, and latest note.
Open Update and edit the assigned vendor, status, and note. Save the change so the next person sees the current handover.
Building-grouped summaries keep the portfolio context visible instead of presenting every repair as an isolated ticket.
Search the maintenance list to find a request by its visible details. Each row connects the repair to a building, unit, priority, vendor, and status.
Update the assigned vendor and move a request through New, Assigned, In progress, or Resolved. Assignment is a saved name; the pilot does not notify or schedule the vendor.
Save the latest progress or resolution note with the repair. This is a current handover field, not a versioned conversation or audit history.
The pilot uses 2 tables with fictional records. No external database is needed to explore the source app.
| Table | Sample data | What it stores |
|---|---|---|
| Buildings | 3 sample buildings | Building name and portfolio context. |
| Maintenance requests | 8 sample requests | Building, unit, repair details, priority, assigned vendor, status, and latest note. |
The overview shows the first three buildings; the request list covers the bounded dataset. The pilot updates existing requests. Resident intake, new-request forms, vendor notifications, appointment scheduling, invoices, attachments, and a versioned repair history are not included. It is an English desktop app with reads limited to 1,000 rows per table; larger portfolios need server pagination. Export, clean installation, and access policies still require validation.
This design is a starting point. Describe the look you want, add your logo and brand colors, or ask for new features in a prompt. Use the starter prompt to build your own version in the ToolJet AI builder, or use a suggested prompt to modify an app you already have. Review and test the result.
Suggested prompts describe changes you can request. Additional features and translations still need to be built and tested.
Choose ToolJet Cloud, or download the application package to import into your self-hosted instance once the template is released.
Explore the sample records in ToolJet Database, then add your records and configure the workflow for your team.
Describe your preferred design, branding, and new features in the AI builder. Test your workflow, then share your app with the people who need it.
Courtyard includes a building overview and a searchable maintenance request page. Staff can update assigned vendor, repair status, and the latest note. The sample database contains three buildings and eight requests.
Resident intake is not included in this pilot. A suggested prompt describes how to add an intake form and the permissions needed to keep resident information separate.
No. The assigned vendor is stored on the request for staff coordination. Email, SMS, vendor scheduling, and external integrations need to be added.
The app stores the latest note on each request. A timestamped note history or audit trail is not implemented.
Yes. Use the prompt to request your logo, colors, layout, terminology, and additional features. Test the resulting app before using it with real building or resident information.
The pilot uses ToolJet Database with fictional data and is built in English. Arabic and other translations can be requested with AI, but translated versions are not included.
The source app is a built pilot. Public deployment and download remain disabled while the importable package and database setup are validated.
