The purpose of this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) is to set forth how ToolJet Solutions, Inc, (“Tooljet”, “us”, “we”, “our”) collects, uses,and maintains Information (as defined hereafter) about the Users (“you”, “your”) through your access and use of the Product offered by Tooljet. Capitalised terms not defined herein shall have the same meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Use available at (“Terms”).  

We recognize the importance of your privacy, and we are committed to ensuring that you are aware of how your Information is being used. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. Your use of the Product is also governed by our Terms of Use.

Applicability of the policy

This Privacy Policy shall apply to all Information that Tooljet collects in furtherance to your access/use of the Product including but not limited to any information you may submit to access the Product and avail the Services in accordance with the Terms or e-mails that you exchange with Tooljet.  This information is necessary for the adequate performance of our obligations towards you and to allow us to comply with our legal obligations. Without this information, we may not be able to provide you access to and allow the use of the Product and Services.

Nature Of Information Collected And Manner Of Collection

Tooljet may collect different types of information, via your use of the Product, which is collectively hereinafter referred to as “Information”. This Information could be of the following types:

(i) ‘Account Information’ – information that you provide while creating an Account such as  your full name, phone number, e-mail address, company name and role at the company.

(ii) “Personally Identifiable Information” - information that could be used to identify you such as your name, email address, location and other similar information including any Information

(iii) “Non-Personal Information” - information that cannot be used to identify you such as the webpages that you have viewed and your usage patterns;

(iv) “Device Information”- information which is automatically collected about the operating system or version of the system from which the Product is used.

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any Information you submit to Tooljet in furtherance of your use or access of the Product. Inaccurate Information may affect your ability to use the Product, the Information you receive when using the Product and/ or availing the Services and our ability to contact you.

You understand that the Information collected by Tooljet may be collected directly or through automatic tracking of your usage of the Product through the use of cookies or other tracking technologies. The data automatically collected may include usage information such as details of your computing and/or communication device location, connections, or any information that Tooljet may collect through the use cookies or other tracking technologies. You may decline these cookies by changing your Product settings, if permitted. However, do note that this may impact the Services availed by you.

Use of Your Information

The Information that we collect from the use and access of the Product and the Services availed will be used for the following purposes:

(i) To provide and maintain Services;
(ii) To make improvement to the Product;
(iii) Internal purposes to understand the background of the Users;
(iv) Correspondence/communicate with you pursuant to your use of the

consented to be contacted for such purposes;
(vi) To notify you about changes to the Product, this Privacy Policy or the

(ix) For analytical purposes, including but not limited to assessing usage data,
usage patterns and other similar activities to evaluate the Product;

Except as otherwise provided herein, no Personally Identifiable Information will be stored, published, disclosed or shared with any third party without your express consent.

Please do not include or submit any Sensitive Personal Information or Personally Identifiable Information unless specifically requested by Tooljet. If Tooljet determines that any Information you have provided or uploaded violates the terms of this Privacy Policy, Tooljet has the right, in its absolute discretion, to delete or destroy such Information without incurring any liability to you. You agree to your Personally Identifiable Information being used by us in order to contact you and deliver information or administrative notices and any other communication relevant to your use of the Product or availing of Services. Disclosure of Your Information

We consider the confidentiality and security of your Information to be of the utmost importance. We will use industry standard physical, technical and administrative  security measures  to keep your Information  including the Sensitive Personal Information and the Personally Identifiable Information, confidential and secure and will not share it with third parties, except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, or unless we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary in special cases, such as in compliance with legal/ regulatory requests, to address fraud, security or technical issues or a physical threat to you or other Users. By providing any Information to us, you consent to Tooljet providing such Information  to any governmental, law enforcement or regulatory authorities who exercise jurisdiction over Tooljet, upon receiving an order to do so under applicable law.

Given the nature of internet transactions, Tooljet cannot guarantee the security of such Information or take any responsibility for the transmission of Information on the internet because there is some risk that an unauthorized third party may find a way to circumvent our security systems or that transmission of your Information through the Product may be intercepted.  Any transmission of Information on the internet is done at your risk and Tooljet shall not be responsible for the circumvention of the privacy or security settings either by you or any third party.

The Privacy Policy does not apply to, nor does Tooljet take any responsibility for, any information that is collected by any third party either using the Product or providing any related services including but not limited to payment services through an external platform.

We may disclose your Information to our agents, employees, advisors, service providers and affiliates who require the Information for the purposes of operating and maintaining the Product and for facilitating your use of the Product and availing the Services.  

Data Retention and Data Deletion

Tooljet may retain Information, for such length of time as may be required, in order for us to provide the concerned User with Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve any disputes that may arise, enforce its rights arising out of agreements with Users, and/or for such period as may be required by legislations/orders of regulatory authorities to which Tooljet is subject. If you no longer want to use our Product and Services and want your Account/ personal   information   to   be   deleted,   you   may   contact   Tooljet   at to request that User Account be deleted.  Your Account and all your personal information will be deleted within a period of 7 days from the date on which you request deletion thereof. If you wish to avail Tooljet’s Product and Services once your Account is deleted pursuant to you request, you will have to sign-up as a new User.

Rectification of Inaccurate or Incomplete Information

You can change, alter, modify, or delete your Account Information at any time by e-mailing us at However, please note that in the event you alter, or update or delete your account information, we cannot ensure the continuity or quality of the Services being provided to you. Tooljet may permit or deny modification of any information, to the extent such information is required by it in order to be compliant with and observe applicable laws. You have the right to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information concerning you (which you cannot update yourself within your Tooljet Account).

Data Portability      

Data portability is the ability to obtain some of your information in a format you can move from one service provider to another. Depending on the context, you may also be entitled to request copies of personal information that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and/or request us to transmit this information to another service provider (where technically feasible).

Withdrawing Consent and Restriction of Collecting Data

Where you have provided your consent to the collecting of your personal information by Tooljet, you may withdraw your consent at any time by sending a communication to Tooljet at specifying which consent you are withdrawing. Please note that the withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing activities based on such consent before its withdrawal. However, please note that in the event you withdraw your consent, we cannot ensure the continuity or quality of the Services being provided to you.

International Privacy Rights

Tooljet may transfer and/or store Information it collects in any country. When Tooljet transfers to and/or stores your Information to countries other than the one in which you reside, Tooljet shall maintain and protect Information as described in this Privacy Policy and comply with applicable legal requirements.

Data Security

The Information that you provide, subject to disclosure in accordance with this Privacy Policy and Terms, shall be maintained in a safe and secure manner. Tooljet’s   databases   and   Information   are   stored   on   secure   servers   with appropriate firewalls owned by Tooljet or by third parties. While Tooljet will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that your Information is safe and secure, it offers no representation, warranties or other assurances that the security measures are adequate, safe, fool proof or impenetrable.


If you wish to place a complaint with regard to privacy requirements or laws, access any of your Information or would like to update or correct any errors in your Information, please contact our Data Protection Officer/Grievance Redressal Officer, at so that we can consider and respond to your request. All requests will be addressed no later than 72 (Seventy-Two) hours from the date such a request is made.

Amendments to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is subject to change at Tooljet’s sole discretion. Any changes to the Privacy Policy will be posted on Tooljet’s website at policy or notified to you by Tooljet. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy
