AT A GLANCE

What is this order fulfillment template?

Parcel connects an order’s customer and delivery details to line items, picking progress, and fulfillment decisions. Orders begin in Draft, move through Picking and Packed, and finish after dispatch and delivery confirmation. Quantity checks prevent premature packing, and dispatch requires carrier and tracking details. Order values are line-item totals in USD, excluding tax and shipping. The built pilot uses ToolJet Database and fictional records; deployment and download await package and clean-install validation.

INSIDE THE TEMPLATE

What does the template cover?

An actionable fulfillment overview

See orders and their line-item value by active stage, with upcoming work kept in the context of fulfillment.

Orders with editable line items

Create a unique order reference, customer, delivery address, due date, and priority. Add or edit SKU, quantity, and unit price while the order is a Draft.

Picking and packing with quantity checks

Record how many units have been picked for each line. Packing requires every line’s picked quantity to match its ordered quantity.

A recorded dispatch and delivery handover

Dispatch requires carrier and tracking details. Record delivery with a note, or cancel and reopen before dispatch when the order needs to change.

ToolJet Database with sample data

The pilot uses 1 table with fictional records. No external database is needed to explore the source app.

Where this template stops

This app does not reserve or deduct live inventory, process payments, contact carriers, or send notifications. Prices are USD line-item totals without tax or shipping. Cancellation and reopening are available before dispatch; delivered orders remain complete. This English desktop pilot reads up to 1,000 rows per table; larger datasets need pagination. Access policies, package export, and clean installation remain unverified.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Template FAQs

What does the order management template include?

Parcel includes order creation, line items, picking quantities, packing checks, dispatch details, and delivery confirmation across four pages.

How does it prevent incomplete orders from being packed?

Every line must have a picked quantity equal to its ordered quantity. The app rejects picked quantities above the ordered amount and blocks packing until all lines are ready.

Can I cancel or change an order?

Before dispatch, orders can be cancelled and reopened to Draft. Draft line items can be edited, and returning to Draft resets picking quantities. Delivered orders are complete.

Does the total include tax and shipping?

No. The total is the sum of line quantity multiplied by unit price in USD. Taxes, shipping charges, discounts, and payment processing are not included.

Can I change the design, branding, or features with AI?

Yes. Use the starter prompt or ask the ToolJet AI builder to adapt Parcel with your logo, colors, preferred layout, fields, and workflow. Suggested prompts describe extensions to build and test.

Which database and languages are included?

The pilot uses ToolJet Database and fictional sample data. It is in English with light and dark appearances. Other languages and right-to-left layouts need implementation and testing.

Can I deploy or download Parcel?

Public deployment and download remain disabled until the importable package and clean installation have been validated.
